ADC & RO, Tuli town council, Mokokchung through a circular notified regarding the valid documents required for the purpose of electoral identification as per the directives of the State Election Commission, Nagaland informed DIPR.

He informed that all the electors enrolled under Tuli Town Council should bring any one of the following documents for exercising his/her franchise on the polling day:

• Indian Passport; Driving License; Aadhar Card; Service Identity Card issued to its employee by the State/Central Government, Public Sector Undertaking, Public Limited Companies; Bank/Post Office PassBook with photograph; Pan Card; Pension Document with photograph; Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate issued by the Deputy Commissioner/ Additional Deputy Commissioner.

The Returning officer also stated that the Voter’s Information Slips (VIS) will not be eligible as a document for proof of identity for casting a vote.
