The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tening Lemlila Sangtam has informed to all the concerned citizens under Tening jurisdiction that the Tening Town council is launching the ‘Swachh Diwali ‘ campaign from 7th to 12th November 7 to 12 under Swachh Bharat mission 2.0, informed the DIPR.

In this regard all citizen/ public have been requested to make the occasion a green Diwali by using only a single use plastic and pollution free event. Further, it also informed to all for strict enforcement of ban on use of fire crackers within the ULB jurisdiction. The defaulters will be penalized as per appropriate section of the law.
