In continuation to the addendum of the office of the Mokokchung Municipal Council and the State Election Commission Notification dated 9th March 2024, the Administrator & ERO Mokokchung Municipal Council, Chumlamo Humtsoe has notified on Residential Proof that in addition to the documents in the previous notification, the following three additional documents may also be produced for authentication of residential proof: the bank passbook, passport and indigenous inhabitant certificate (Applicable for the State inhabitants).

Additionally, in case of conflicting claims and objections with regard to the residential status of the applicant or where the certificate cannot be issued because of unavoidable circumstances, the Area Administrative Officer shall verify and dispose of the matter with the approval of the concerned Deputy Commissioner.
The above instruction shall be applied in conjunction with the earlier instructions on March 6 and 11.
