The Administrator & ERO Tseminyu Town Council, Longasen Lotha has notified that in pursuance to the State Election Commission notification dated March 4, the Special Summary Revision of the Electoral Roll for Tseminyu Town Council will be taken up with reference to 1^st January 2024 as the qualifying date as per the schedule indicated as follows:

Stages of the schedule date & day, Draft publication of Electoral Roll 8^th March 2024 (Friday), Period for lodging claims & objections, 11^th – 20^th March 2024 (Monday- Wednesday), Period for disposal of claims & objections 21^st -27^th March 2024 (Thursday -Wednesday), Period for filing appeal to the appellate authority 28^th  March – 3^rd April 2024 (Thursday-Saturday), Disposal of claims & objections by the appellate authority 4^th – 6^th April 2024 (Monday -Wednesday), Preparation of the list of amendments after the decision of the appellate authority 8^th – 10^th 2024 (Monday –Wednesday) and final publication of Electoral Roll 12^th April 2024 (Friday).

For the special summary revision of the Electoral Roll of Tseminyu Town Council, the Electoral Roll as finally published on  November 24, 2022 under the now repealed Nagaland Municipal Act 2021 shall be taken as the basis for draft publication purpose, which as indicated in the schedule, shall be published under rule 6(1) of the Nagaland Municipal election Rules 2023.

No enumerator(s)/Supervisor(s)/Sector magistrate(s) etc will be appointed during the ensuing special summary revision of the Electoral Roll. The applicant(s) /individual(s)/claimant/objector shall directly apply to the ERO for inclusion/deletion/correction of particulars etc. Required forms for claims and objections will be made available in the office of the Administrator & ERO, Tseminyu Town Council after the draft publication of the Electoral Roll.
