Celebrating excellence and changing lives, bringing one smile at a time, the Advanced Dental Aesthetic and Implant Clinic today celebrated its 10th anniversary at Sozo Complex, near IOC Petrol Pump, Mohankhola, Kohima.
Speaking at the anniversary celebration event, Dr Pfukrulo Koza, Consultant Visiting Specialist, recalled the journey of Advanced Dental Aesthetic and Implant Clinic and said that the clinic started in 2015, realising the need to provide quality dental care to patients.
Dr Koza said Advanced Dental Aesthetic and Implant Clinic was started to provide a platform for specialist doctors to give their specialty treatments with the necessary facilities and equipment.
He informed that in 2015 the clinic first started with three doctors and two specialists with only two dental chairs, and in 2017 the clinic improved the facilities. After 2019 more doctors came forward and joined the clinic, while it had also upgraded to five dental chairs.
The specialist informed that the journey of the clinic is based on need, and at the same time, it is the patients and the commitment of the team of doctors that have helped it grow over the years.
He claimed that the clinic is now one of the best-equipped and largest dental clinics in Nagaland, providing facilities like dental laser surgery, microscopic surgery, complex and advanced dental implant surgery, smile design facility, conscious sedation, and he went on to accredit the teamwork.
Informing about the achievements, the Consultant Visiting Specialist stated that the Advanced Dental Aesthetic and Implant Clinic has the highest number of dental implant placements, with approximately 1,100 implants placed, benefitting hundreds of patients. The clinic is also considered to have performed the first bone block grafting, bone ridge split surgery, sinus lift surgery, all-on-four implants, and plastic surgery for lip reposition in gummy smiles, etc.

It was also informed that the clinic has the highest number of dental specialist doctors under one roof, besides being one of the first clinics to use CAD/CAM prosthesis facilities and having the distinction of conducting the first dental implant course for dentists in their clinic.
Reiterating the commitment to care, Dr Koza stated that the clinic’s mission has always been centred on holistic care and providing the best treatment facilities under one roof by upgrading their treatment techniques and equipment facilities.
Acknowledging God for the milestone that the clinic had reached on its 10th anniversary and all its patients who had put their trust in the services provided by the doctors, he also acknowledged the house owner for providing the space in their building for the clinic to start.
Meanwhile, Dr Koza also spoke about the initiative taken by the team of doctors from the clinic and others called Kekhro Smile Foundation (KSF), primarily focused on promoting oral health, hygiene, and reaching the unreached in a charitable way. Additionally, he informed that in future it would start a charitable clinic and also include more doctors in the team.
Dr Imyangluba, Pediatric Dentist at Advanced Dental Aesthetic and Implant Clinic, spoke about the future plans of the clinic and announced that it would open a new satellite branch with three dental chair facilities initially at Tinpati Junction, Kohima, by the end of this year.
He added that the initiative to open a new branch was to cater to the needs of the patients, as many also come from Meriema, High School, and other adjoining areas.
Dr Imyangluba also informed that the clinic is adding more technologies, equipment, and specialists to cater to the needs of the patients.
Dr Vetsole H. Koza, Managing Director, Advanced Dental Aesthetic and Implant Clinic, who chaired the programme, delivered the welcome address. Vote of thanks was tendered by Dr Dzutholu Thingo, General Dentistry and Oral Implantologist at Advanced Dental Aesthetic and Implant Clinic, Kohima.
The programme began with a prayer offered by Keviechupe Pfuno, Deacon, CBCMHK, and ended with a prayer by Vilhou Koza.
The occasion was attended by Miss Nagaland Beautiful Smile – Kelülü Dawhuo, reigning Miss Universe Nagaland, Miss Nagaland 2nd runners-up, and Miss Kohima.
