Advisor for Department of Industries & Commerce, Hekani Jakhalu along with Commissioner & Secretary, Kekhrievor Kevichusa, Director, A. Temjen Jamir and department officials inspected industrial sites and projects of the Department in Dimapur and Chümoukedima District on Monday, DIPR stated. The purpose of the visit was to assess the functioning of the industrial sites and to identify areas where improvements can be made.
During the inspection, the team toured the project site at Toluvi Village, Factory site at Viola Colony, Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre (NTTC), Industrial Growth Centre (IGC) and Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Ganeshnagar.
The Advisor also engaged in a session of discussion with officers of the Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre and interacted with the students.

The Advisor commended the department for its continued work in promoting industrial activities and commerce in the state. She urged the officials to take steps to attract more investments and create more job opportunities for the people of Nagaland. The officials assured the Advisor that they would continue to work towards the growth and development of the sector.
The visit was a success, and it is expected that it will enhance and improve the industrial sector in Nagaland. The department officials are confident that they will be able to implement the inputs made by the Advisor and further enhance the state’s industrial potential.
