Advisor Khamo emphasizes need for Naga society to restore and uphold culture of honesty

Advisor for CAWD and Taxes, Kudecho Khamo emphasized the need for the Naga society to restore and uphold the good tradition of honesty at all cost stating that nothing overtakes honest and to help each other.

Addressing the 4th Session of Khamo Clan get-together at Lozaphuhu village under Phek district on 26 April 2024, the Advisor noted that the today’s world is very competitive and urged his clansmen to be hardworking and let Christ be their everything and their identity, the orgainsers stated in a press release.

Stressing on the need for transformation and restoring the good culture of the Nagas, he urged the Khamo clansman to be trailblazers in this regard in order to positively contribute to the society’s progress. Further, he called upon the gathering not to disturb and mislead the society but be an asset.

Meanwhile, Vilelie Khamo, Class-1 contractor, in his speech shared his life story and exhorted the members that nothing comes easy but through hard work and dedication. He also advised the members to acknowledged God for the blessings of leadership in the person of Kudecho Khamo and hoped that the clan would remain united, support the leadership and continue to pray for the success for the Advisor.

Speeches were also delivered by Khriesavilie, Chorhitso, Vecüta and Niekhruzo while a research report was also presented by Siekuo. A folk song was presented by Lozaphuhu village and Phusachodu Village.

Earlier the welcome address was delivered by Vekhozo and the programme was led by Vetacho.
