S. Kiusumew Yimchunger, Advisor, Home Guards, Civil Defense, Fire & Emergency Services and was spotted on Saturday at Lower Tizu in Kiphire district doing laborious work. The Advisor and his team reportedly joined villagers who were involved in preparations for Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio’s upcoming visit to the proposed site for the 42 MW Hydro Electric Project.

The H.E project is planned to be built at a cost of Rs 336.63 crore.

On Thursday, Chairman of SDPDB Pungro, Yimchunger urged the members to give their best services for upliftment of the people at the monthly meeting of Sub-Divisional Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) under Pungro subdivision. The meeting was held at the ADC office conference hall.

The meeting deliberated on problems faced by the people of the area. Later, he also visited the site of the Fire and Emergency Services.
