Advisor Sukhalu credits his mother for success, encourages women not to let gender be a hurdle

Zunheboto: Advisor offers to help studious youths from villages who are being held back by financial constraints

Advisor Food & Civil Supply, Legal Metrology, K. Tokugha Sukhalu, IAS (Rtd) gave his mother credit for his success, stating that she was the driving force behind him becoming an officer. The Advisor was speaking at the 7th annual session of Zunheboto area Totimi Loka at Yemishe village on 23rd November 2023, DIPR said.

Sukhalu exhorted mothers to be wise as always and always check or have a conversation with their children about their studies or else the child will go astray. He also encouraged the women folk to always be strong and never let their gender be a hurdle as these days various countries and states are governed or headed by female leaders. The Advisor requested the congregation specially the youths to preserve the rich culture and traditions as Nagas are known because of the through our culture and traditions.

As per DIPR, KT Sukhalu further offered to do all in his capacity to help youths in villages who are good in studies and wish to succeed in competitive exams but cannot do so due to financial restraints and appealed the gathered to identify such persons.

The program features various cultural competitions, bible recitation competition and song competition.
