Advisor Social Welfare, Wangpang Konyak undertook a review of implementation of schemes under Social Welfare Department in Mon district, informed a DIPR report.

Interacting with the officers and staff of Social Welfare Department, Mon, he encouraged them to work hard and called on them to dedicate themselves to bring better results. He stated that unlike in the past, the performance of the Department is now reflected in dashboards and every effort needs to be directed towards uploading of details in the dashboards.

Konyak also visited the Anganwadi centres under Mon and Aboi ICDS project and interacted with the anganwadi workers and took first-hand information of how the programmes are being implemented at the grass roots. He also had an Interaction with the beneficiaries.
