Agniveer aspirants mentored by Army clears recruitment

17 Agniveer aspirants from Manipur, mentored by Army, have successfully cleared the Agniveer Recruitment process of 2024. Successful participants were felicitated during a ceremony held at the Red Shield Centre for Wellness & Excellence in Bishnupur on October 5, informed a press release by the PRO & Spokesperson, Ministry of Defence, Manipur, Nagaland and Southern Arunachal Pradesh.

Responding to the requests of ex-servicemen community and local residents, a comprehensive course for 101 aspirants were oriented and prepared for the Agniveer Common Entrance Test (CET) from 18 Feb to 18 April 2024 out of which 38 candidates successfully qualified the CET and received a comprehensive nine-week training that further assisted in preparing them for the second phase.

58 aspirants including 37 qualified earlier and 21 additional aspirants joined the program that included pre-medical tests, in addition to the physical tests.

35 of 58 aspirants successfully cleared the mandatory tests at the rally and further 17 aspirants out of these 35 made it to the merit list and will now be joining various regiments of the Indian Army as proud Agniveers.
