The Agri & Allied Organisation of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), Wokha Region, has distributed brush cutters to cultivators in Wokha district. The distribution took place from March 21 to March 26 at the organisation’s regional office in Wokha.

Limathung and Chandemo, the President and General Secretary of the Agri & Allied Organisation, NDPP Wokha Region, stated that beneficiaries were carefully selected from various villages following thorough verification and inquiry. They emphasized that the recipients were among the most deserving farmers, highlighting the critical need for such agricultural tools. The brush cutters are expected to significantly aid the farmers in their work.

The organisation expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Mhathung Yanthan, MLA & Advisor for the Department of Agriculture, Government of Nagaland, for facilitating the allotment of these machines. They assured that future activities would continue to be carried out with transparency and equity.

Reaffirming its commitment to the welfare of the agricultural community, the organisation pledged to address farmers’ needs and grievances in the departments that are within the scope of the organisation. It also vowed to uphold the party’s principles and campaign platform in all its endeavors.
