The Department of Agriculture under SDAO Tizit held a machinery distribution program for palm oil farmers under NMEO-OP 2023-24 at Tizit, Mon district today.

SDO(C) Tizit, Tumben P Tsanglao who attended the program as the Special Guest encouraged the farmers to sincerely maintain the fields as per the guidelines so as to increase the Fresh Fruit Punch- FFP production. He further reminded the farmers to enhance/increase the area through department and the company’s (Patanjali) support.

SDAO Tizit, Myanthung Patton, in his keynote address stated that the department is leaving no stone unturned to assist and support the oil palm farmers through various means.

Machineries distributed during the programme included, HP water pump, harvester, power dealers, brush cutters with attachments, pruning tools and fungicides.

The program was also attended by the representative of Patanjali Company.
