The Department of Agriculture organised a farewell program in honour of the two outgoing officers on April 2 at the conference hall in the Directorate of Agriculture.The outgoing officers were Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC) T.Mhabemo Yanthan, IAS and K.Remphamo Lotha, Additional Director of Agriculture.

Speaking at the programme, Mhathung Yanthan, Advisor of Agriculture extended appreciation to the outgoing officers for their services rendered to the department. He also urged them to continue to contribute towards the society even after their retirement by utilising their knowledge and experiences they have gained during their services. Further, Yanthan encouraged  the staffs and officers to seek cooperation and to uphold team work for improvement of department.

While congratulating the outgoing officers, M.Ben Yanthan, Director, Agriculture Department, in his short speech, lauded their unwavering contribution and services to the department and particularly to the farming community.

Farewell speeches was also delivered by the two retiring officers.

While short speeches on behalf of the Mission,Agri & allied department and Agriculture department was delivered by Dr.Kruolalie Tsurho Team leader of NBRM, Meyasashi, Director of Horticulture and Khonthungo Lotha, Joint Secretary, Agriculture.
