Akashvani Kohima has announced that it is organising a ‘Musical Fiesta’ to commemoration India’s 78th Independence Day on 10th August 2024, at State Academy Hall in Kohima. This special celebration will honour the spirit of freedom and unity through an exceptional showcase of music and cultural performances from 15 tribes of Nagaland, it said in a press release.
Rupin Sharma, IPS, Director General of Police (DGP) Nagaland, will be the Guest of Honour for the programme

The Musical Fiesta will feature an array of performances by both renowned and emerging artists from the state like DGP band, Coloured Keys, and Moko Koza, among others.
Abino Lasuh, Assistant Director (P) & Head of Programme, Akashvani Kohima, said the event is not only a tribute to India’s rich cultural legacy but also a chance for all to come together and celebrate our nation’s journey and achievements.
Akashvani Kohima has urged all the citizens in Kohima to join the event and be a part of this celebration. The Music Fiesta will begin at 4:00 PM.
