A listeners feedback app named RAISE (Radio Audience Interactive Survey and Evaluation), developed to gather evaluations of Akashvani programmes, was officially launched on Friday through a virtual conference by Ashish Bhatnagar, Additional Director General (A,

BO & CO-Akashvani) North East Zone (NEZ).

Akashvani Mokokchung was among 12 selected stations from the North East Zone that participated in the launch. At the station premises, 33 selected registered regular listeners attended the session along with office staff and casual assignees, totalling 60 participants. Three senior citizens who are regular Akashvani radio listeners were presented with mementos.

The programme began with a brief introduction of the app by Prasenjit Dev, Engineering Assistant, Akashvani Guwahati, followed by a short address by BJ Gogoi, Programme Executive office of the ADG (CO), NEZ.

A demonstration and technical overview of the app was presented by the development

team from Akashvani Agartala. This was followed by the official launch and address by ADG Bhatnagar.

Participants also shared feedback and views during the session. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Chintra Mein, TREX, O/o ADG(CO), NEZ, Akashvani Guwahati. The app was installed on the devices of attendees at each station, including Akashvani Mokokchung.
