The Angami Krotho Delhi (AKD) has condemned the incident of spy camera harassment that has surfaced recently.

According to AKD, in this appalling act, a man was found using a hidden camera concealed inside a lighter fixed between his toes to secretly film women between their legs.

Stating that the act is not only vile and predatory but also a gross violation of privacy, dignity, and bodily integrity, the AKD said the act is not only a grave invasion of privacy but also an assault on the dignity and safety of individuals.

Stating that such behavior is not a minor offence or a lapse in judgment, it is a grave act of harassment and exploitation, the AKD declared hesitation that this community would not tolerate such depravity and demanded that the perpetrator be punished with the full weight of the law.

It informed that an FIR has already been registered and called upon the authorities to act swiftly and  uncompromisingly, adding, any delay or leniency in addressing such a calculated crime will only embolden others who may attempt similar acts.

It also urged all members of the community to remain aware and vigilant.  It further called upon institutions, organizations, and the larger society to stand with them in condemning this incident and ensuring that privacy and dignity are upheld for all.
