The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has clarified that the ultimatum it issued on September 14, 2025, will remain in abeyance. The decision was taken after due consultation and in consideration of the unified stand adopted by the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) at its Emergency Presidential Council meeting.

In a press statement issued today, AKM stated that it stands in full solidarity with the RMSA Teachers

2016 batch and will abide by the collective decision and timeline set forth by the NSF. The Federation has granted the Government a period of ten days to take necessary action.

Appealing to the Government, AKM urged that the issue be treated with the urgency it deserves and resolved within the stipulated timeframe given by the NSF.
