In continuation with its ‘Survival Mokokchung’ initiative, the Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has informed all the non-locals residing within Mokokchung District who are yet to renew/register their ILP and AKM Census Card that renewals/registrations will commence from 20-28 November 2024 at the AKM Conference Hall from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
In this regard, the AKM has appealed to all the ward chairmen, village councils and employers as well the concerned guarantors to ensure that all the non-locals residing within their respective jurisdiction are duly registered during the stipulated time.
“As the infiltration of illegal immigrants not only poses an imminent threat to the indigenous inhabitants of Nagaland but also the cultural perseverance and identity of Nagas as a whole, we expect continued cooperation from the administration and support from all the citizens of Mokokchung District,” the student body stated.
The AKM has also informed that there will be intensive checking after the stipulated date and those found without proper documents during inspection would be deported immediately.
Documents Required:
- ILP (Renewed)
- AKM Census Card
- Guarantor along with photo documents (1 photo each for every guarantee)
- NOC from Ward/Village Council Chairman with detailed House Owner Name, House Number, Name of Tenant and Ward/Sector Seal & Signature of the competent authority.
Further, the AKM has notified that any individual(s) found with forged documents would be liable for further legal actions and consequences whereby the concerned Guarantors would be held solely responsible. It also said that no individual (Guarantor/Employer) bulking documents/cards would be entertained.
