The Association of Kohima Municipal Ward Council (AWMWC) Search Committee has announced the appointment of new office bearers for the tenure 2025 to 2030.

The Search Committee as appointed by the AKMWC held several rounds of meetings, and met almost all the 19 Wards Chairmen to take their suggestions and advices, stated a report issued by the committee on October 10.

After thorough deliberation and maintaining balance among the wards, the Search Committee recommended and nominated the following as the AKMWC Office Bearers for the tenure 2025-2030:

1. President- Thejao Sekhose (Ward-3)
2. Vice President- Duzoho Tunyi (Ward-11)
3. Vice President- Peter Rengma (Ward-17)
4. General Secretary- Hukato Chishi (Ward-18)
5. Joint Secretary – Diethonguzo Miachieo (Ward-2)
6. Publicity & Information Secy – Khotuo Belho (Ward-15)
7. Finance Secretary – Shiyito Wotsa (Ward-13)
8. Treasurer – Khrielakuo Sekhose (Ward-10)
