As declared by the Lotha Middle Range Students’ Union (LMRSU), the indefinite bandh across Lotha Middle Range Jurisdiction under Wokha District shall start from March 18.
The total bandh has been imposed in the Lotha Middle Range jurisdiction against the unsatisfactory progress of the Sanis ‘0’ point to Lakhuti Road upgradation project under Wokha district.
In a press communique, the LMRSU has mentioned that all the vehicular movement except Police, para-military forces, medical services including Ambulances, and private vehicles carrying patients and dead body, fire & emergency services, power department, press and Students plying for any Examination with a valid ID card/Admit card shall be restricted.
Further, all the institutions (Both Govt & Private), Commercial shops, Govt departmental offices except Administration and police station shall remain shutdown.

The Union also asserted its stance on the following demands:
The prime contractor should address the public of the deprived villages in person and declare a written assurance stating to complete the work within the stipulated given period.
Representatives from the Government of Nagaland to address and assure the public in written to complete the project within the given time frame.
According to the LRMSU, the bandh shall continue until the genuine demands of the Union and public are materialized.
