All Tribal councils urged to deal situation cautiously to avoid misunderstanding and confrontation: ENPO issues emergency notification

In the backdrop of the filing of nominations in Eastern Nagaland for the upcoming ULB elections despite the call for abstention,  the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization (ENPO) has directed all its citizens of Eastern Nagaland to remain calm and maintain peace and tranquility. Furthermore, in consultation with the Tribal Councils, the ENPO has issued the following emergency notification:

  1. The ENPO CEC meeting and General Session scheduled for 13th and 14th June, 2024 are postponed until further notice.

  1. While appreciating other intending ULB candidates who did not file nomination, are further urged to remain calm for the cause of our movement.
  2. All Tribal Councils are urged to deal with the situation very cautiously in order to avoid any misunderstanding and confrontation.

By adhering to these directives, we can ensure stability and unity during this period, assured the ENPO.
