The Alumni Association of St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama organised a Career Guidance on the theme ‘Gearing up towards a Better Tomorrow: Are You Ready to Take the Next Step?’ for the 4th Semester PG and 6th Semester UG on Friday at the College Indoor Stadium.

The Career Guidance for the students was delivered by Zhozoto Nakro, Project Coordinator and International Business Machine Corporation-STEM, YouthNet. The Resource person highlighted on the various career choices for the students and their impacts on life.

He also shared the different stages of Career Development and guided the students to identify steps to achieving them. Nakro encouraged the students to take advantage of Offline and Online courses and informed them about emerging Sectors such as Tourism, Construction, vlogging etc.

Earlier, the program was chaired by M. Mathew Yhome, Joint Secretary, Alumni Association SJC(A) with invocation and introduction of the new office bearers by the Principal, Dr. Fr George Keduolhou Angami. Motivational Messages were shared by Peter Vizo and Rekha Dukru. The programme ended with the vote of thanks delivered by Diezelhounuo Tepa, Statistical Secretary of Alumni Association SJC(A).
