The Nagaland Police has issued a press release informing parents or relatives of those stranded in cases of cyber slavery to contact Police Control Room set up by Nagaland Police for any assistance.
“As published in local dailies on September 30, 2024 that a large number of Indians including those of 33(thirty-three) people from Nagaland especially educated youths reportedly being lured into Southeast Asian countries by promising of high paying jobs. However those lured are only “trapped” in what has been described as ‘Cyber Slavery’,” stated the Nagaland Police.
