The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has expressed gratitude to the State Government and Department of Higher and Technical Education for introducing the regulation and guidelines for coaching institutes and launching the Nagaland Scholarship Nodal Cell (NSNC) on December 1.
In a press release issued on December 3, the Union expressed that the initiatives mark the significant progress toward enhancing transparency, accountability and quality within the education system of the State.
It also commended the Chief Minister, Government of Nagaland and the Higher Education Department for their commitment to safeguard the students’ interest, streamlining scholarship processes and strengthening standards for coaching institutes.

“This development is a framework to ensure efficient scholarship management and promote overall educational excellence in Nagaland,” stated the Union.
While conveying its gratitude, the union appealed the concerned authority to operate the NSNC at the earliest and ensure activeness, transparency and proper disbursement of scholarship schemes in the State. It further urged all the coaching institutes to abide by the directive of the newly approved guidelines.
“The ANCSU will continue to remain vigilant on this development and committed to advocating for the welfare and interest of the students’ community in all circumstances,” it stated.
