The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has submitted a reminder to the Minister of Higher Education & Tourism for the early disbursement of the pending 2nd instalment (remaining 25%) of Post Matric Scholarship ST for the year 2023-2024.
With no positive development despite the Union submitting an appeal on November 30, 2024, the ANCSU has once again raised the issue after the lapsed of more than 90 days, imploring the Minister to urgently engage with the Central Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India for the early release of the students’ scholarship.

The ANCSU strongly expressed it’s discontentment and frustration to the department concerned and state government for failing to address the needs of the students’ community with the seriousness it deserve.
“While understanding that certain issues require certain time and period, the union reiterates its stand not to remain as mute observers when the welfare of the students’ fraternity are deliberately disregarded and turned a blind eye. We hope that this reminder would invite your esteemed authority to pay attention to the grievances of the students’ community and that timely action is taken up to avoid any confrontation,” stated the ANCSU.
