Annual State Level Science drama competition held at Dimapur

The Annual State Level Science Drama Competition (ASDC) 2025 was held at Innovation Hub-Nagaland Science Centre, Dimapur on October 29 under the theme “Science & Technology for the Benefit of mankind”. The event was graced by Bokavi Swu, Director, BZ Entertainment, Nagaland, who is also a prominent actor and decorated Director-filmmaker, as the Special Guest and Chief Judge.

The Nagaland ASDC 2025 was won by PM SHRI Government Higher Secondary School, Dimapur and the school will represent the State at the Zonal Level i.e. the North-East Zone Science Drama Competition which is going to be held on November 21 at National Science Centre, Guwahati.

Science Drama Competition is an annual event which is organised across the country with a primary aim to showcase juvenile artistic creativity and to use the medium of drama as a potent tool for dealing with socio-scientific issues of current importance in the society.

The competitions began at the State Level, and would be followed by the Regional level and ultimately culminate at the National Level i.e. The National Science Drama Festival (NSDF) which is organized and managed by the National Council of Science Museums.

The Annual State Level Science Drama Competition (ASDC) 2025 is sponsored and organized by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Nagaland.
