The All-Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA), Kohima Unit, organized a grand felicitation programme today at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Kohima, to honour the toppers of the HSLC and HSSLC Examinations 2025. Held under the banner “2025 Toppers’ Felicitation Programme,” the event drew a large gathering of school leaders, parents, students, and dignitaries, informed a press release by the ANPSA, Kohima unit.

The chief guest and keynote speaker for the programme was Rangumbuing Nsarangbe, Secretary of the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) and Chairperson (Additional Charge). The event featured a special musical performance by Ministers’ Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School, which added colour and celebration to the occasion.

A total of 48 rank holders from Kohima District — comprising toppers from both HSLC and HSSLC 2025 NBSE Examinations — were honoured during the ceremony. Each of the toppers was awarded a certificate of achievement and a token of appreciation by ANPSA Kohima Unit in recognition of their hard work and excellence.

The audience was especially inspired by the speeches of two rank holders: Neiseinuno Suohu, 2nd Rank, NBSE HSSLC Science 2025, from Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School Kohima, and Moasanen Pongener, 2nd Position, NBSE HSLC 2025, from Fernwood School Kohima.

They shared their personal journeys, insights, and words of encouragement to their peers.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Keyokhole Naomi Ltu, Cultural Secretary of ANPSA Kohima Unit, who expressed gratitude to all schools, supporters, and dignitaries for their presence and contributions.

The felicitation programme not only celebrated academic excellence but also stood as a testament to the spirit of dedication, perseverance, and collective encouragement that defines the educational community of Kohima District.
