The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Wokha Unit organised a Christmas Carol programme on Sunday evening, commencing from the Public Ground, Wokha, with carolling carried out in and around Wokha town.
The programme was attended by ANTA Wokha Unit family members, officials of the All Commercial Vehicle Association (ACVA), and members of the press and media.
As part of the programme, the association distributed coffee and cakes to police personnel on duty and members of the public as a gesture of gratitude for their service.
Addressing the gathering, ANTA Wokha Unit President, T Renbemo Kikon extended warm Christmas greetings. Highlighting the role of taxi drivers and operators, he said that ANTA members spend long hours on the road serving the people of Wokha and beyond, ensuring the safe transportation of passengers. He added that through the Christmas carolling, the members were also spreading the message of goodwill, kindness and unity within the community.

Kikon expressed hope that the carols would bring joy to all and help strengthen community bonds. He thanked ANTA members and their families for their dedication and service throughout the year and encouraged them to continue serving the public with humility, care and responsibility.
He concluded by wishing everyone a blessed Christmas and prayed for safety, peace and prosperity in the coming New Year.
