The Ao Senden has urged the Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung to ensure the proper and immediate implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) concession recently announced by the Union Government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a letter addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, Ao Senden President, Marsanen Imsong and General Secretary, Imtipokyim stated that the Union Government under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi have been kind and benevolent to the citizens of India to declare concession in Goods and Service Tax (GST) as a gift to the citizens of India, effective from September 22, 2025,
The organisation requested the district administration to oversee the smooth enforcement of the GST concession for ease of living and to build Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The Ao Senden also expressed the right to undertake necessary checking as whether this concession is implemented properly or not at any time.

Reaffirming its appreciation for the Union Government’s effort to provide relief to the people, the Ao Senden expressed hope that the Deputy Commissioner would take immediate steps to facilitate the execution of the concession in Mokokchung district.
