The office of the Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has informed that the last phase of registration for the AKM Census Card for non-locals residing in Mokokchung will begin on 10th June and conclude on 22nd June 2024. Therefore, the Office has urged all non-locals who are yet to renew or register their cards to do so at the AKM Conference Hall during this period from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Those failing to register/renew within the specified date and time shall be subjected to dire consequences, AKM has cautioned.
Further the Office appealed to all the concerned Chairmen of Wards and Village Councils to ensure that all the non-locals residing within their respective jurisdiction are registered. It also sought the continued cooperation from the administration and support from all the citizens of Mokokchung in this regard.
The infiltration of illegal immigrants is a threat to the indigenous inhabitants and has to be fought with joined hands, AKM added.
