The Assam Rifles Noklak Battalion collaborated with ABHEDYA NGO organised a clothes distribution program in Ponyo Village, Myanmar under its goodwill campaign “Spreading Smile Across”. The village is situated across the border at BP-146 and shares proximity with Dan village in India, AR informed in a press release.

The Gaon Burah (GB) of Ponyo Village appreciated the initiative of the Assam Rifles and ABHEDYA NGO efforts in fostering goodwill and friendship across borders. A total of 400 clothing items was provided to the villagers who conveyed their gratitude to the Assam Rifles for their compassion and support.
