Arunachal BJP Seema Yatra team reaches Mago village in Indo-Tibet Border

Tawang: The team visited Kenzamani, the Indo-Tibet Border post where the 14th Dalai Lama was received by Assam Riffles during the great escape from China in 1959

In a bid to boost up morale support to the forces guarding the land of actual and border inhabitants, the Arunachal Pradesh State BJP team led by Tarh Tarak and District team led by Sange Chhodup set foot on Seema Yatra reached the Mago, one of the last border villages on the Indo-Tibet border.

The villagers of Mago accorded a warm reception to the team expressing gratitude to BJP team for visiting their far-flung village.

The team visited Lungrola, Chuna Post and interacted with Jawans serving selflessly at the tough terrain guarding the nation. The team also had a fruitful interaction with Indian Army Jawans at Kenzamani, the Indo-Tibet Border post where the 14th Dalai Lama was received by Assam Riffles on behalf Government of India during the great escape from China in 1959.

Earlier, enroute to Kenzamani, the State Seema Yatra team was received by Lungla MLA Tsering Lhamu where the team paid their homage Late Jambey Tashi, former Arunachal Pradesh MLA who passed away in November 2022, at Lhamu’s residence.
