Arunachal Pradesh: Remote villagers benefit from medical camp organised by ITBP

Kohima: The ITBP organised the medical camps at Sangti village and Pudung villages of West Kameng on Monday and Tuesday respectively, a defence update informed.

Fabulous Fourth, 4 Battalion, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) of Dirang in Arunachal Pradesh organised several medical camps for the residents of West Kameng district under the civic action programme.

The ITBP organised the medical camps at Sangti village and Pudung villages of West Kameng on Monday and Tuesday respectively, a defence update informed.

Dr. Neeraj Bhargava, Chief Medical Officer and Nursing Assistance provided treatment and free medicine to all the patients.

The medical camp was attended by around 200 persons from surrounding villages, who availed the benefit of free medical advice and medicine during the camps.

Thoudam S Mangang, Commandant, 4 Bn. ITBP assured that the battalion will continue to provide all possible assistance to the people and informed that it has organised many medical, veterinary camps and other civic action programmes in border area villages.

The village leaders and villagers expressed their gratitude to the commandant, Dr. Bhargava, medical staff and officials of 4 Bn. ITBP for their yeoman service, it added.
