ASHIPO Society expresses gratitude for successful Chuchuyimlang Moatsü Open Concert 2024

Mokokchung: Through hailstorm and heavy rain, enthusiastic audience sung along to local songs and patiently waited for hours, says organisers

The ASHIPO Society has expressed its gratitude to all who contributed towards the success of the Chuchuyimlang Moatsü Open Concert despite the challenging weather conditions throughout the event which was held on 2nd May 2024 at Anü Mai Amphitheatre. The event celebrated the laying of the foundation stone of Yaküki HiEERA Development Projects Pvt. Ltd at Chuchuyimlang Village.

In a press release, the organisers, ASHIPO Society conveyed thanks to the Chuchuyimlang Village Council, Tourism Committee, artists, Special Guest, media, attendees, and especially to the sponsors and well-wishers.

“Despite the challenging weather with a hailstorm and heavy rain throughout the concert, the enthusiastic audiences sung along to local songs and patiently waited for hours until main artist Sunep Lemtur entertained them”, the organisers stated.

ASHIPO Society also informed that the Chuchuyimlang Moatsü Open Concert was graced by Tongzuk Pongen, Vice-Chairman of the Dimapur Urban Council Chairman Federation and Ward Chairman, as the Special Guest. Speaking at the event, Pongen urged music enthusiasts and the general public to yearn for their native village, visit it and learn about one’s own culture and lives of the people and in addition to making valuable contributions in various ways.

Further the organisers said that Luen Longchar of Longkhum village was adjudged as the winner of the online Ao Moatsü song contest. He received a cash reward of Rs. 10,000 from organizer and audio sponsorship from Sunep Lemtur.

The President of ASHIPO Society said that the focus of the concert was to promote upcoming local young artist and appealed the public for support even in the future.
