Assam Rifles organize medical camp at Yezashi village in Zunheboto

Zunheboto: Essential healthcare services including general check-ups, consultations, screenings, etc provided at medical camp

Around 324 individuals from Yezashi village under Aghunato, Zunheboto benefitted from a medical camp organized by the Assam Rifles on 30th March 2024, DIPR said. The camp was aimed to address the healthcare needs of the local population, many of whom face challenges in accessing medical facilities.

The medical camp was equipped with a dedicated team of medical professionals and support staff offering a wide range of essential healthcare services including general check-ups, consultations, screenings, and the distribution of medicines, catering to diverse range of medical requirements.

Many people reportedly travelled from remote areas to avail the services provided by the Assam Rifles medical team.

As the medical camp concluded at Yezashi village, the Assam Rifles reaffirmed their commitment to continuing such initiatives in the future. They aim to ensure that healthcare remains accessible to all, particularly those in underserved and remote areas. The event exemplified the organization’s ethos of service, compassion, and solidarity with the communities within its area of responsibility.
