The district administration Shamator and district hub for empowerment of women (DHEW)- BBBP organised an awareness campaign on women safety and security schemes cum Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) registration drive and sanitary pads distribution at Yakor village on June 22 as part of the ongoing outreach.

A helpdesk was established at the site to assist pregnant and lactating mothers. Beneficiaries were informed about the monetary benefits, eligibility and required documentation. Target groups were women of reproductive age, adolescent girls, pregnant and lactating mothers and Self Help Group (SHG) members.
