Awareness Interactive Session for Miss Kohima 2025 contestants held

Miss Kohima 2025, organised by 4FRONT Event Managements and powered by Putuonuo Hospital, hosted a Health Awareness Interactive Session today for the contestants.

This event was conducted by Putuonuo Hospital as part of this year’s Sponsor Activity at the Conference Hall, Putuonuo Hospital.

Focusing on physical, mental and emotional well-being, the programme reflected the pageant’s advocacy, “Beauty with a Purpose,” under this year’s theme, “Beauty. Health. Beyond.”

The event was chaired by Kerivinuo Zaphu, with the welcome address and introduction delivered by Sanjeevini Lama.

Renowned medical professionals from Putuonuo Hospital delivered lectures on various topics. Dr Asho Angami, Senior Medical Officer, spoke on “Substance Abuse – Effects on Health and Appearance”; Dr Neilakuo Kire, Orthopaedic Spine Consultant, presented on “Exercise and Bone Health – A Winning Combination”; D. Thejavinuo Keditsu, Consultant Obstetrics & Gynaecology, delivered insights on “Beauty and Wellness”; Dr Petevihu Dzuvichu, Consultant Paediatrician, discussed “Mental Health & Stress Management”.

The session also featured interactive Q&A rounds, fostering open dialogue between theexperts and contestants. A panel discussion followed, where speakers and participants exchanged ideas on how health awareness and lifestyle choices shape true beauty and confidence.

As a highlight of this year’s collaboration, the three winners of Miss Kohima 2025 will be appointed as Brand Ambassadors for Putuonuo Hospital, each carrying forward their advocacy under the theme “Beauty. Health. Beyond.” Their year-long initiative will promote health education, self-care and holistic well-being reflecting the true essence of Beauty witha Purpose.

The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Neitho Khamo, Co-founder of 4Front Event Management, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to Putuonuo Hospital for their generosity and partnership. He also thanked all the resource persons for their valuable insights, the organising team for their coordination and the contestants for their enthusiasm and commitment.

In the closing session, Dr. Thejavinuo Keditsu on behalf of the hospital also delivered the Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the collaborative effort of the organisers, speakers and contestants. The event concluded with a photo session and networking.

Meanwhile, the grooming sessions would be held from October 6 to 11 and the grand finale of Miss Kohima would be held on October 14 at The Regional Centre of Excellence for Music & Performing Arts (RCEMPA) at 1 p.m.
