Awareness programmes on the three new criminal laws: Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) 2023 and Bharatiya Sakshya Abhiniyam (BSA) 2023 were conducted at Tizit Police Station, Tizit, Mon on 29th July 2024 and at DB Court, Shamator town on 1st July 2024.

In Tizit, the Office in Charge of Tizit Police Station, Nzanbemo Lotha, was the Resource person.

Representatives of Civil Society Organizations, President of all wards under Tizit Sub-division attended the programme.

In Shamator, the one day sensitization programme on the three new criminal laws of India was organised by District Executive Force (DEF), Shamator. Additional Superintendent of Police, Shamator, Limaonen NPS introduced BNS 2023, BNSS 2023 and BSA 2023 to the public during the programme, while Superintendent of Police, Shamator, Khruosutho, NPS delivered the opening remarks.
