Awareness programme on substance abuse held at Kuhuboto

The Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan campaign was successfully held at Government High School, Kuhuboto, Niuland on August 28. The objective of the program is to raise awareness about substance abuse and promote a drug-free society.

The program commenced with a welcome address by Nuhuta Tunyi, SDO Civil Kuhuboto, where he highlighted the importance of collective efforts in combating substance abuse. Kelengunuo Solo, EAC introduced the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan initiative and led the audience in taking a pledge to support the campaign’s mission.

In her keynote address, Tiala, Community Health Officer emphasized the devastating effects of substance abuse and encouraged community participation in the campaign.

The event was chaired by S Boloka Jimo, Specialist in Financial Literacy, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Vily V Chophy, District Mission Coordinator.

The program was organised in line with the national initiative to create awareness, prevent substance abuse, and promote rehabilitation.
