The Angami Youth Organization (AYO) has called for an emergency presidential council meeting on July 27 at APO Hall. The meeting has convened in the backdrop of the death penalty/capital punishment issued to an Angami contractor by the NSCN (K) Khango group.

The AYO has informed all the executive members of the four ranges (SAYO, NAYO, WAYO & CYO) and the Youth Organisation President and General Secretary of all the Angami villages to attend the meeting without fail (Two representatives).

The meeting will deliberate on the issue of the death penalty/capital punishment and also on the future course of action, stated the AYO.
