The 40th Parting Social, 2024 of Baptist College, Kohima and Sechü Campus was held on Friday at URA Academy Hall, Kohima under the theme ‘Embracing Today, Navigating Tomorrow’.
Vice Principal, Baptist College, Kohima, Narola Chuba, exhorted the outgoing students to embrace challenges, stay curious, and continue to learn and carry a positive impact as they venture out on their new journey. She also emphasised on how humility allows one to acknowledge their strengths without arrogance and accept one’s weaknesses with grace. It fosters genuine connections with others and promotes a sense of community, she said.
Jesse Kapfo, B.A. 4th Semester, Department of History delivered a speech on behalf of the Juniors while speech on behalf of Seniors was made by Diezenuo Chüzho, B.A. 6TH Semester, Department of English and Pfütsükote Ketsu Koza, outgoing President, Student Council. The program ended with the benediction by Tamreimung Chüsi, Chaplain, Baptist College, Kohima.
