The Student Council, Baptist College, Kohima organised an orientation program for the class representatives of BA/B.Com 1st, 3rd and 5th semesters for the tenure 2024-2025 on 16th July, 2024 at Rivenburgs Memorial Hall under the theme ‘Lead with Vision, Inspire with Action.’
The program’s speaker, Dr. Kewepfuzu Lohe, Interim Principal of Baptist College, Kohima, highlighted the distinction between positional and functional leaders, urging everyone to strive for the latter. He underscored the importance of leaders as initiators of change by reflecting on past failures and motivating positive actions.

Seyiesilie Vüprü, Convener of the Student Council, outlined the roles and responsibilities of the CRs.
Kihitoli A. Kiho, President of the Student Council, opened the program with the welcome address, while Limatemjen Tzüdir, General Secretary of the Student Council, expressed gratitude in the vote of thanks.
Illi Awomi, Social & Cultural Secretary and Supon Lam, Vice President of the Student Council delivered the invocation and benediction respectively. Daniel Konyak, Assistant General Secretary of the Student Council, chaired the program.
