The Baptist College Career Counselling Cell in collaboration with the Mavericks Academy held career counselling program on March 5 to enlighten the students on various career paths that can be accessed.
The speakers for the program were Vekhohu Puro,EAC and Vedezo Neinu, SA, informed a press release by the college.
Puro highlighted the students on the overview of career opportunities, where he gave insight on the various exams that are held yearly both national level and state level. He also encouraged the students to understand their own skills, to understand their identity and to pursue the exams accordingly.

Vedezo Nienu who gave a talk on ‘My Journey: From Aspirant to Public Servant’ delivered realistic views on exams and preparations, sharing his experience on how he achieved success. He encouraged the students to focus more on the systems and process and not only on the goals. Nienu provided tips on how the students can reach their goals by following and developing routine, attending classes regularly and appearing mock tests to assess oneself.
He emphasized on how one should never underestimate the small things in life and that consistency is always better than intensity. The program ended with a brief information on the courses and facilities available at Mavericks Academy and with a note of thanks from Zhangukhonuo, Asst.Professor. The program was chaired by Dr. S.K.Pandey, with a prayer from Changhoungla Chang, 6th semester.
