In an exemplary gesture for humanitarian cause, the Baptist Pastors’ Fellowship Kiphire Town sent relief funds to conflicted Manipur through the Manipur Baptist Convention.
BPFKT General Secretary Bhim Sapkota, who is also the pastor of Nepali Baptist Church, Kiphire Town informed that the fellowship conducted a free will donation for Manipur through their 13 churches and raised an amount of Rs 2,30,000.
“Our prayers are with Manipur and its people we hope they will find healing sooner, but besides our prayers we also wanted to contribute a little amount which may help the neediest in this time of tragedy,” Pastor Sapkota said.
In a letter to Manipur Baptist Convention, BPFKT President, Pastor L. Alison Sangtam and Pastor Sapkota expressed deep concern for all the victims and said that they sincerely pray “the almighty good Lord bestow healing, forgiveness, peace, restoration, and hope in the lives of all God’s people.”
