Benjamin Yepthomi appointed as new Nagaland State BJP President

Kohima: Yepthomi has served party in capacity of BJP Nagaland State Vice President and Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) President

Benjamin Yepthomi has been officially appointed as the new Nagaland State President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The appointment was made by BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda and the order was issued today by Arjun Singh, National General Secretary and Headquarter Incharge.

Benjamin Yepthomi, 43 years old is an active BJP party worker and have served the party in the capacity of BJP Nagaland State Vice President and Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) President for two consecutive terms.

Benjamin Yepthomi is the son of Late Khehokhu Yepthomi (Founder of Thahekhu Village & Khehokhu Village) from Dimapur district, Nagaland.

Yepthomi has been holding various responsibilities in the organization and has been a hardworking ‘karyakarta’ of the party.

He has been very active in the state general assembly election management of the party in 2018 and 2023.

Also, he has campaigned for the party in elections of various states like Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Bengal, Karnataka, Mumbai.

Yepthomi was in-charge of the grand rally of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Dimapur during the elections.

He has also successfully organized the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan of the party which was highly appreciated by the central leadership.

Deputy Chie Minister Yanthungo Patton congratulated Yepthomi on X and said, “We are confident that under his leadership, the party will continue to grow and thrive, expanding its footprints, and building upon the commendable work of Shri @AlongImna”.
