BJP appoints new morcha heads in Nagaland for 2025–28 tenure

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland, with the approval of the national president JP Nadda, officially appointed six morcha heads of the state BJP for the tenure 2025–2028 on Thursday.

The newly appointed officials are V. Khekato Awomi (yuva morcha), Tsachola Rothrong (mahila morcha), Thomas Magh (ST morcha), Imnanungsang Lemtur (kisan morcha), Ankit Jain (minority morcha), and Prabhakar Yadav (OBC morcha).

“This significant organizational development reflects the party’s continued commitment to strengthening its grassroots leadership and enhancing public outreach across the state,” the party stated in an official release.

Congratulating the newly appointed morcha heads, the BJP Nagaland expressed confidence in their ability to uphold the principles of the party and to serve the people of Nagaland with sincerity and dedication.

“BJP Nagaland remains steadfast in its mission of collective responsibility for the welfare of the people, and looks forward to a vibrant and effective tenure from the newly constituted Morcha leadership,” the release added.
