The Bank of Baroda and Nagaland Police signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) under corporate social responsibly (CSR) on 23rd February 2024 where the special police forces salary package was introduced.

According to DIPR, the major benefits under the scheme include free personal accident insurance benefits for all salary personnel cover on-duty and off-duty, higher education cover for the wards of police personnel, transportation of mortal remains, personal accident insurance (PAI) cover from age between 18 to 80 years or up to the age of retirement and inclusion of death in active operation in PAI.

The signing of this MOU will go a long way in promoting the financial wellbeing of the police personnel and assured insurance in times of accidents and fatalities.
