Body of drowned man recovered after 42 days in Noklak

Noklak: Family of deceased thanks everybody for support

The corpse of late Putsou, who was assumed to have drowned in Choklo River under Noklak district on 19th August 2024, was retrieved from the river today after 42 days. The deceased belonged to Chipur Village and was 64 years old.

The villagers had formed a search team when the deceased failed to return home on 19th August after he left for fishing. They later recovered his belongings on the bank of the Choklo River but could not find Late Putsou.

On receiving the news today from two men who saw the body in the river, the search team rushed to the spot and pulled the body out.

The family members of Lt. Putsou, while lamenting the tragic loss of their father, extended gratitude to everyone who stood by them in every way possible throughout their grief.
