In a press release stated today by the Boxing Association Mokokchung (BAM), the organization is set to host its 2nd Boxing Camp, aimed at fostering the sport of boxing within the district. Following the success of their previous intensive free coaching camp, which attracted 165 enthusiastic participants in July, BAM is gearing up for another exciting initiative.
Scheduled to run from 10 October to 24 October 2023, this upcoming coaching camp will cater to aspiring young talents aged 9 to 14, welcoming both boys and girls.
BAM is partnering with the Department of Youth Resources & Sports (DYRS) and the Nagaland Amateur Boxing Association (NABA) to ensure the camp’s success. A professional boxing coach, along with two senior boxers from Nagaland, will guide and mentor the young athletes throughout the camp.
